This beasty has been living in my mind for quite some time and I finally got around to putting him on paper. I havn't a clue what he is called so don't bother asking. But he is a sort of dragon horse kind of beast.

He is built for speed and is the choice steed of theives and assasins because of an easy speedy get away ability. The creatures long limbs and powerful hind quarters make it th fastest thing on four legs. Its large, clawed, almost bird-like feet allow it to climb and grip the ground better. It has a powerful cheast cavity with big lungs to allow it to breath easier while running at high speeds. His hair is a lot like a horse's, but it is so short, smooth, and tightly packed it looks and almost feels like skin. This helps keep off water and allows it to move more aerodynamically. It is a meat eater, as seen in the emmense teeth and powerful jaws but it is not picky and will eat almost anything it can get. Don't get me wrong though, he is by no means a agressive creature despite his appearence. His kind are for the most part gentle and easily tamed and domesticate for carrying riders. His legs are wrapped because when carrying the extra weight of a rider his thin, streamline leg are best to be re-inforced. By the way, no, he has no form of unicorn in him, the horn it part of his harness and is purely show.

His face was origionally intended to be a bit more dragon-like and little bit more like a skull but I sorta like his face like this. No reference was used for the equine looking anatomy but I think it came out pretty well. I like making up critters because I don't have to follow the rules of normal anatomy.
